Chris comes to TeamSAI's with a proven track record of driving results throughout his 37 years of airline, MRO and manufacturing leadership experiences. As an insightful and motivating leader, he has focused most of his career on improving troubled operations in a broad array of assignments. He is a motivating, communicative leader of high integrity and a knowledgeable strategist and tactician. He has a proven ability to instill a compelling vision, turnaround operations, and add value to bottom line results.
Most recently Chris served as President of Triumph Precision Castings Company, driving an accelerated operational focus on turn-time, productivity and quality in the manufacturing of cast gas turbine components.
Prior to his position with Triumph, he was the Senior Vice President Maintenance Operations for US Airways and directed a complex turnaround of the $1.2B maintenance operation including a network of over 8,000 professionals. He also oversaw the aggressive induction of 120 new Airbus aircraft at a rate of one per week.
Prior to his position at US Airways, Chris worked for Northwest Airlines in several Vice President roles overseeing Line Maintenance, Base Maintenance and finally, all Technical Operations. His accomplishments included industry best FAA NASIP inspection results, improving aircraft check turn times and merging the operations of Northwest Orient and Republic Airlines.
Chris started his career at TWA with roles in maintenance, engineering, planning, maintenance control and finished as the Director Maintenance Data Systems Administration.
Chris is a graduate of LeTourneau University with a B.S. in Aeronautical Technology and has taken graduate course work at UCLA, Kellogg and Michigan State University. He is a FAA licensed pilot and mechanic.
