MRO Strategic Assessment
Considering the current market slowdown in an opportunistic way, one of our MRO clients engaged our services to position itself for growth as the market improves in the future.
An in-depth internal and external assessment resulted in recommended changes in their current operation and management systems. Additionally, two specific new business opportunities were identified in their competitive market that warranted consideration for expansion … each opportunity has extremely attractive revenue potential.

MRO Process Improvement
A major MRO was passing internal and external audits but getting cited by the FAA on compliance issues. After a short diagnostic engagement, we developed a new audit process that has revealed a number of internal issues, but most importantly, has pinpointed the core process breakdowns. Now, the organization as a whole understands the issues of addressing and managing the changes needed in a way that promotes internal ownership and positions them to sustain the changes that are being made.

MRO Business Expansion—
VIP Completions
Selected to assist an international MRO expanding their footprint to include VIP/BJ Completions, we are assisting with business and technical training requirements at all levels in the organization. This involved meeting EASA standards along with other desired certifications. TeamSAI has a highly skilled completions and training team under the direction of Mike Moore that specialize in “center of excellence” completions business needs.

Maintenance Program Optimization
One of our Part 121 airline customers was operating with uncompetitive maintenance intervals leading to a cost disadvantage. With other priorities constantly distracting their technical services staff, tackling the needed analysis for escalation of the program was just not practical to attain. TeamSAI performed the necessary analysis to justify a major escalation (40% increase) within two months. The effort had a less than 6 month ROI, allowing the airline to take advantage of on-going savings valued at multi-million dollars per year.
